Condolences are pouring in following the tragic passing of Kagiso “Pope” Ramoshai, also known as “Psalimist,”.
The Limpopo born multi-talented gospel artist, actor, social media content creator, events promoter, and MC died in a car accident heading home from Amigos Palace nightclub in Nobody along the R71 route, around 2:00 am.
The news of his death was confirmed by his brother, Tshepo Ramoshai, in a statement shared on Facebook.
“It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Kagiso ‘Pope’ Ramoshai. In this time of grief, we appeal for your compassion, space, and time to congregate as a family. Funeral arrangements will be announced soon” expressed Tshepo Ramoshai.
Mphoza Mashabela, Chairperson of the Limpopo Artists Movement (LAM), said Pope was one of their own and they are saddened by his passing.
“The loss of Pope has left an irreplaceable void in the Limpopo entertainment landscape. Our deepest condolences go out to his family, friends, colleagues, and fans. May his vibrant spirit find eternal peace,” said Mashabela.
Amigos Palace also posted on their Facebook page to send condolences.
“Last night we didn’t know it’s our last moments with pope….It was your soul that touched us all”
