Makwena Makgakga popularly know as Kwenisto has bid farewell to Energy FM.
Kwenisto Makgakga joined the Polokwane based radio station, Energy FM in 2022. His first show was on Monday, 7 February.
He hosted the midday lunch show, “The Lunch Plug,” from 12 pm to 3 pm, Monday to Friday.
Taking to his Facebook page, he announced his departure, expressing heartfelt emotions.
“It’s so emotional that I will be leaving in a few days. I really loved it here, and hopefully, the future holds the best for me,” posted Kwenisto.
Allegedly, Energy FM opted not to renew Kwenisto Makgakga’s contract as the station gears up for the upcoming radio season.
Following this announcement, Kwenisto will not be part of the new lineup in 2024. He thanked listeners for the for the support and love.
“To the listeners, I came in your radio with a different approach yet you gave me your ears. The love, the support and ofcourse the joy will remain in my heart.”
“I will forever appreciate this chapter. Otherwise let’s enjoy the few days remaining together. I love you!, ” he concluded.
Kwenisto Makgakga joined Energy FM after leaving Thobela FM in 2019. He was approached twice by Energy FM before he accepted the offer.
